A Much-Needed Update

Hello all! Has it really been since August? Yes, yes I think it has. I have been SUPER busy since returning from Las Vegas. School, work, school, work, school, work...seems like that's all I've been doing since. I haven't sent out a batch of autograph requests in months (sad, I know), but I am planning on sending out letters to Kate Mulgrew and Florence Henderson, both of whom I have in my collection, within the coming week. I purchased an 8x10" of Captain Janeway out in Vegas to be signed by Kate, and I plan on sending my copy of Florence's autobiography to be signed by Mrs. Brady. Although I haven't sent out any handwritten requests for autographs, that's not to say I haven't obtained any signatures...I did manage to acquire a signed copy of Molly Ringwald's When It Happens To You, thanks to the folks at a bookstore out in Denver, Colorado. And I've started saving (again!) for the 2013 Star Trek convention in Chicago, which has confirmed Sir Patrick Stewart and the entire supporting cast of The Next Generation. It will be so nice to see them again, and I think I'm going to purchase a solo photo with my darling, Gates McFadden. Such a beauty.

Nevertheless, Halloween is right around the corner. As a result, I spent this past Saturday night nestled in my warm bed watching my all-time favorite Halloween flick, Hocus Pocus. It has been one of my all-time favorite films for as long as I can remember, and I cannot foresee a day when I stop loving this movie. I mean...Kathy Najimy, Sarah Jessica Parker AND Bette Midler?! How can you NOT love this movie?! Amuck, amuck, amuck! Here's to (at least) a dozen more viewings by the time Halloween rolls around...oh, and I still need to watch Rocky Horror Picture Show! Another Halloween classic. Let's do the Time Warp agaaaaain!
So there. I've checked in. And I haven't forgot about y'all. Let's just hope it doesn't take me another two months to post something! Live Long and Prosper!
